Verto Architectural Metalwork Ltd. were approached by an intermediary contact to offer staircase refurbishment proposals.
The existing stair was non compliant for Building Regulations and as a result a temporary protection in polycarbonate had been "bodged" to the stairs.
In order to keep site welding to an absolute minimum and to maintain the cleanliness of the building we felt that glass infil panels were the best option.
We also changed the existing handrail and refurbished the existing stair treads, finally adding a stainless steel infil on the undersides to make a safe and compliant staircase.
